Tucked away on a flat, fully fenced back section and boasting great indoor-outdoor flow to the covered patio, this Whangamata accommodation offers the kind of summer living you remember from the good ol’ days.
Cosy and bright, the open-plan living space at Walk to the Water offers a comfy corner for winding down in front of the TV, and a modern, well-equipped kitchen for whipping up the sides to go with your favourites hot off the BBQ grill.
Lay out a spread of holiday snacks on the outdoor table and pour yourself a cold one in preparation for a serious game of backyard cricket! Cool off with a quick nip to the beach for a swim, then pull up a bean bag on the lawn and chill. You’re on holiday now!
Three bedrooms, one in the main house and two in the detached sleepout, comfortably sleep up to six guests here. This really is the perfect setup for a family with older kids; the sleepout complete with its own deck being the ideal haven for kids to make their own.

Great Location....
Location was great, but unfortunately our son had to sleep on the couch as the portacom was leaking above his head as well as an ant infestation and the smell of mould.Without this it would have been fantastic.

Great location, won’t be back
No welcome book, no wifi for 12hours, dishwasher was broken and once fixed the plates didn’t fit. Pots not big enough for 6 people, lids broken. All a bit dated and rusty but in working order. Won’t come back though

Wonderful stay
Had a great time at this bach. Very nicely renovated and super comfy beds. Nice covered outdoor area. Maybe could use better directions as we arrived at night and struggled to find it.
