Patuwai ('By the Water')
Awesome house. Awesome location. 2 adults and 5 teenagers stayed for long weekend. Well set up house and separate sleepout. Heaps of room for everyone and more if need be. Close to estuary and beach. Everything you need there. Definitely stay again.

Central beach location 5minutes walk to beach, 10 mins walk to town
Cute little place, had pretty much everything you needed was a good place to stay, just a little cold in the night time but other than that great place great location few minute walk to the beach and shops very handy.

I love Whangamata Getaway
Comical and stressful. Not sure whether the host knows there property is still listed - and attempts from Book a back were fruitless. Also less than proactive. All in all - a disastrous experience. I’ll leave it at that!
