Gorgeous and very spacious log cabin overlooking the Dead River on the National Scenic Byway of Route 201 in picturesque West Forks, Maine! In the heart of whitewater rafting, the Huts and Trails hiking system and also world class hunting and fishing. Less than a mile from Berry's, the local general store and walking distance from the iconic Hawk's Nest Restaurant and Bar with several other restaurants a short drive away. Large fire pit just outside of the cabin with fully stocked wood shed makes for memorable evenings watching the sun go down over the majestic river...

We had such a wonderful stay at this beautiful cabin right by the river! The cabin was cozy, peaceful, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. Enjoying the beautiful scenery was truly special. The space was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we hoped for. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, scenic escape!

Beautiful cabin. Took the family whitewater rafting and the cabin was extremely close. Right across from the dead river. Beautiful scenery. We enjoyed the fire pit and the wood burning stove kept us nice and toasty. Host was so easy to work with. Checking in to make sure we had all we needed. Highly recommend staying here.

This cabin is an excellent home base for all of your adventures in The Forks. Very close location to rafting adventures and close to the river so you can watch from the front porch or walk a few steps to cast a line or take a dip. Communication with the host was excellent and it was easy to check-in and check-out. Beds are very comfy and the kitchen had all we needed for a weekend stay.
