"This is an old-fashioned motel. Our room (standard with 2 queen beds) was simple and basic, with no frills, and the bathroom though adequate could really have used an upgrade. But it was also the cleanest hotel/motel room we’d ever stayed in (including 4-star ones). One morning I watched as the cleaning staff went and out of some of the rooms that had been vacated: each room got close to half an hour’s cleaning. Checking in and checking out, we met with pleasant and courteous treatment at the reception desk, and the young person checking us in was responsive and accommodating to our needs. We came here by chance, because it’s high season and many other places were already filled, but we will come by choice next time."
