"As per our previous trip the staff here are brilliant. Service and check in was smooth efficient and friendly. The room was lovely. The hotel was extremely clean. You cannot beat the location if you are taking the shuttle to The Warner Bros Experience. Last time i stayed i gave the hotel five stars and made reference to dinner at the hotel mentioning good service and piping hot food. Sadly, i feel that my meal had deteriorated in quality from very nice fish in crispy batter to cheaper quality bulk buy tasteless fish in batter that was hardly evident. I suppose that in this climate it is a cost cutting measure. My chips were luke warm and the peas stone cold. Last year my grand daughter loved her meal of macaroni cheese with large crispy onion rings. Plenty of batter and lovely juicy onions. This year what arrived was a bowl of small rings of outer coating again only luke warm with no visible sign of onion present. Again it seemed a cost cutting measure purchasing a cheaper brand. Once cooked the onion shrivelled up to nothing. To be fair the staff addressed these issues immediately to our satisfaction. Im also assuming that the cheaper products were not a decision made by this hotel alone but the entire chain. My advice. Stay in the lovely hotel, but go out to eat elsewhere."
