"The room was basic and clean. Very good value for the price. Would have liked a microwave or coffee pot to make my nightly tea but there was one available in the lobby. Didn't get to use the pool because of the limited hours (9 to 9). The shower was very high end and enjoyable. I would definitely stay here again. "

"The service was excellent but it seems obvious they operate on a skeletal staff. There is nobody assigned to the little store inside. You have to go to the desk clerk ( who is also the manager.) The bartender is also the food server and busser in the restaurant. There is no concierge nor baggage porters. I realize it is low season, but for a higher end hotel, it really felt sparse. I saw almost no other customers. The room was dirty! I found party remnants in the room ( a party streamer/confetti) and there was tape all over the windows inside. The window itself is filthy. The bed was lumpy. Hardly slept and awoke with a backache. The restaurant food is pretty good actually. They were out of some menu items however. I think overall this was a vibrant, active hotel, maybe 20 years ago. But it seems VERY TIRED now."
