Comfortable and spacious rooms. Lobby closed as we arrived very late. Had to call staff to let me in and wait a few minutes for them. A friendly staff got us checked in and to our rooms fairly quick.

Stayed overnight 4/21 for a trip through the Badlands. My spouse, dog, and I slept overnight with an early morning departure only to get charged property damage fee of $163 in addition to the room fee and dog fee. The claim was that a long mirror was damaged. Do not recall a long mirror in the room. Unsure of when this happened - prior to arrival or after our departure because it did not happen during our stay. There was not a phone call to discuss the issue or even to return to the property for inspection. Only the charge to my credit card. Front desk told me to dispute it with credit card company and gave me managers email. No return email or phone call since. Contacted corporate office only to discover Wall location is privately owned. Either arrange a pre and post inspection of your room or choose another location. Bad business here.

The person behind the desk (Mel) was friendly, but she was having a problem finding a clean room for us. The maids were not getting the job done, and it was 3 p.m. We had to change our room because it had a shower only, no bathtub. I thought a bathtub was standard in a motel room! Also, we checked ahead that the property had a pool, but found when we got there that it was under repair.

the TV was not functioning, and the staff was unable to resolve the problem. no TV, no news or weather. no monetary compensation.

The shower in my unit was a little funky. Should maybe at least put a curtain up to keep from splashing water on the toilet and towel area. Room 121. Took a Long time for shower to get warm/hot water. Loved the rest of the room and my stay.

There was a pair of sometimes dirty socks left on the floor. We asked for 2 queen beds, got a soda sleeper and a queen bed. They charged me extra for my children (2 years & 5 years) for the Continental breakfast, without notifying me.
