I had to call when we got there and wait to help to check in. The next morning when we went down to get help no one was there. We left and went back a half hour later and couldn’t get help getting into our room or even help at the desk. It took an hour to get someone there to get a sweater. What if a fire??? I also have brain issues so this caused a lot of extra stress on my brain that was unnecessary.

Staff was helpful and friendly, room was clean and comfortable, rates were VERY reasonable compared to the post-lockdown highway robbery of just about every other lodging option. Also, we stayed on Labor Day weekend and the area around Alsi Resort was quiet and sparsely populated (good for a pandemic), unlike the surrounding areas.

Great location. Especially nice if you had bay view. Basic hotel with dated decor and ammenities but fine for the price. Room service brought new towels but did nothing else.

During your next stay we would be happy to give you some ideas on fun things to do around the property, along with the amenities that we offer inside the hotel as well. Our hotel was built in the 1960's and our rooms do have a retro feel to them, we're discussing different ideas and upgrades that we can make to the rooms during our winter season of 2021. We're sorry that you were disappointed by not receiving a full stay over clean however due to Covid regulations our housekeeping team is still on restrictions for stay over cleans, our team is looking forward to being able to complete full stay over cleans when it is safe to do so. Our room was spectacular, the staff was amazing. Unfortunately the pool was broken so that was a huge bummer and the continental breakfast was super bad.

great location

Pros: location
Cons: cleanliness
Location: easy access to walking along the bay, close to bay bridge and reasonably close access to beach.
Good location, good restaurant and economical. "continental breakfast" was minimal. Upkeep could use a little more attention. Still one of better places to stay in the Waldport area. Much quieter than staying close to the highway.

Be prepared

The food in the restaurant was fantastic however it was freezing and had to wear a coat the whole time.
