AmericInn by Wyndham Silver City
"Beautiful setting for this inn. Hugely disappointed by the on-site restaurant. One woman was running the entire dining room by herself. She did an excellent job, given the circumstances. The food was hugely disappointing. Walleye, a favorite of mine, was the worst cooked ever. Supposed to be made with lemon and pepper. Horrible lemon -- not sure it really was lemon -- and way too much pepper. Basically, unedible. The Brussels sprouts were good but but were served cold. The grilled shrimp was way over spiced. The baked potatoes were good -- most cooks can get those right. For the price we paid for the food, we were very disappointed."
