Jumpin Fish House 3BR/2BA Pool Home on the Canal

Jumpin Fish House — Serene Riverfront Retreat with Heated Pool & Wildlife Views
Welcome to Jumpin Fish House, a beautiful coastal-themed home nestled in a peaceful preserve setting along the South Prong of the Sebastian River. With no homes directly in front or behind the property, this special location offers privacy, tranquility, and an incredible opportunity to experience Florida wildlife right from your own backyard.

Relax on the spacious, fully furnished screened patio and enjoy views of Osprey, Great Blue Herons, Sandhill Cranes, and abundant native wildlife. You may even be pleasantly surprised by what wanders, flies, or swims by during your stay. The river is home to an abundance of fish, and guests have caught 15 different species right from the backyard!

A Private Riverfront Setting
Step outside and you'll find a stunning backyard overlooking the South Prong of the Sebastian River. Across the water is a beautiful preserve lined with tropical trees and natural vegetation, creating a peaceful backdrop with very limited public fishing access.

Fishing poles are available for guests to use, so grab a chair, cast a line, and enjoy the relaxing surroundings right from the property.

Comfortable Coastal Living
This spacious home features a split-bedroom floor plan with three bedrooms, comfortably accommodating families and groups:

Primary bedroom with a king bed
Second bedroom with a queen bed
Third bedroom with two twin beds
Two separate living areas
Full dining area
Breakfast nook overlooking the heated pool
Two remodeled bathrooms
High ceilings and an open floor plan
Tile and laminate flooring throughout
The home has been thoughtfully updated with new stainless-steel kitchen appliances, a high-efficiency washer and dryer, remodeled bathrooms, and new patio furniture.

Coastal décor and an abundance of natural light create a comfortable Florida atmosphere, but the real highlight is the spectacular outdoor setting.

Your Outdoor Living Space
The huge covered screened patio is furnished for comfortable outdoor living and is designed to make the most of the beautiful surroundings.

You'll find:

Comfortable outdoor sofa
Dining table with five chairs
Two deep-seating chairs
Coffee table
Outdoor TV with Comcast cable
Propane grill
Beautiful views of the river and preserve
With three TVs throughout the home—including the primary bedroom, family room, and patio—there's plenty of space to relax and unwind.

Heated Pool
Enjoy the private pool during your stay! A new electric pool heater has been installed to help keep the pool comfortable during cooler weather.

Pool heat is available for an additional $10 per night and is intended to cover the additional electricity used for heating. The pool is heated to approximately 83°F, depending on weather conditions.

Please note that pool heat is billed separately after the reservation has been paid in full, as the booking website does not currently provide a way to add the fee during the reservation process.

During colder months, a solar pool blanket must be kept on the pool whenever you are not swimming. This helps retain the heat and allows the electric heater to operate more efficiently.

Explore Sebastian & Florida's Treasure Coast
The home is located in Sebastian, Florida, a wonderful destination on the Treasure Coast between Melbourne and Vero Beach. Sebastian sits along the Indian River Lagoon and Sebastian River and offers a relaxed coastal atmosphere with plenty of opportunities for boating, fishing, wildlife viewing, beaches, and outdoor adventures.

The beach is approximately 10 minutes away by car, making it easy to enjoy a day in the sand before returning to your peaceful riverfront retreat.

Whether you're looking for a relaxing getaway, a fishing trip, a family vacation, or simply a place to reconnect with nature, Jumpin Fish House offers a truly special Florida setting.

Guest Access
Guests have access to the entire home, private pool, and yard during their stay.

Important Information
Check-in: 4:00 PM
Check-out: 10:00 AM

If the pool cover is in place, please return it to the pool after each use. During the cooler months, keeping the cover on when the pool is not being used helps retain heat and reduces the amount of electricity needed to maintain the pool temperature.

Come relax, fish, swim, watch the birds, and enjoy the natural beauty of the Sebastian River from your own private Florida retreat!

Peaceful, comfortable, clean, very well stocked property. Definitely would recommend! Host was polite and attentive. The property is accurately represented in the listing-- but even better in person. The pool area is so serene. We enjoyed watching the jumping fish, birds, squirrels, and rabbits.

Birds, jumpin fish and relaxation

If you enjoy listening to the birds sing and watching the fish jump out of the water, give this cute house a try. The pool is a relaxing place to watch birds come and go. In a quiet and well kept community. Very relaxing! Try Hen House Eatery for breakfast.

We greatly enjoyed our stay at the Jumpin Fish house. The weather was gorgeous and the back patio was the best setting with a beautiful pool and the nature. We watched the fish jump, the squirrels run and majestic birds fly by on daily basis. The home was comfortable and cozy. The bathrooms well stocked with towels and the water in the showers was hot with good pressure. The mattress in the master was super comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to make good meals at home. We enjoyed making our breakfast and snacks and have them by the pool. We hope to be back one day.

Great Vacation

Our second stay at Jumpin Fish House and it never disappoints! The owners have thought about everything to make our visit perfect. Quiet neighborhood but very easy to find and get to. Close enough to everything but far enough away to relax. Perfect patio area for sitting every morning with coffee and listening to nature and the jumping fish are an entertainment of their own. If we could give it more than 5 stars we would. Absolutely loved our stay and hope to repeat next year!

Perfect place to stay

The home was beautiful and very peaceful sitting out on the porch watching the fish jump. Lovely house with plenty of room for the 5 of us. Comfortable place to gather with family and friends and lots of amenities. The only two things I would change would be that the beds were really hard and under the beds were dusty. Some small issues here and there but mostly natural wear and tear. All round a great place to stay.

December 29, 2025 - January 1, 2026The Jumping Fish home was ideal and true to its name. We saw jumping fish every day. The home was beautiful inside and out, well decorated and well maintained. We felt completely at home. Ashley went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. From family games, outdoor grill, fishing poles, beach gear (chairs, umbrellas, floats, towels), binoculars, night lights, power strips, fully equipped kitchen, a basket of local activity brochures, local restaurant information and much more. We totally enjoyed our stay. Thank You and Happy New YearJames and JaniceDavid and Sheila
