Lovely getaway at Amanzi Hotel in Ventura

We loved our overnight stay at Amanzi Hotel. The location is very convenient: close to the freeway, safe, and within walking distance to Downtown Ventura and the Ventura Pier. We walked everywhere from the hotel. The staff member that helped us was very nice and we had a great parking spot (free of charge). The hotel is very modern and clean, and our room was quite spacious and the bed was comfortable. We slept very well the night we stayed! The breakfast buffet had a nice wide variety of options and were pretty delicious. Will stay here again when we come back! Thank you!

Large rooms in a hotel with easy walk to beach or town. Nice buffet breakfast and coffee and fruit were out all day. The dining space had booths so you sit and talk or play a game. Good pool and spa.

For the price of the Room Rates your property is charging the Staff needs to be more attentive and room maintenance needs to be addressed and followed up along with better cleaning of the rooms. Not worth the price and might be my last stay here.

Location by pier AND downtown is great. By the train - not so great, but unavoidable, and they use double-pane windows. Staff overall very friendly. As a smell-sensitive person, the fragrance in the halls and lobby was too strong. I had planned to use the pool, but it was noisy being next to the freeway, so I passed. Parking convenient.
