This property did not look anything like the pictures that you show. Took forever to find the property, even the locals were not sure where it was!. It is right next to a fish restaurant which was being renovated, luckily for us, as it would have been awful at night time as our bedroom was above it. The breakfast that was mentioned sounded like it was on the premises. NO. you have to go to a restaurant/café down the road somewhere. This room has been given 4.2 out of 5, yes the room was spotless and the man on reception was polite but why such a high score? It did not spoil our holiday at all but I do think that this hotel was nothing like you describe. Therefore I think you sold us something that wasn't quite right.

Happy with the hotel overall, friendly person who met us at reception, helpful with the details of easiest route to Venice from the hotel. Downside would be that it's a bit of a walk, 10+ mins, for Mestre bars and restauarants. Comfortable bed, good bathroom, clean, bright.

Great little room for the single traveler. Clean room with a decent bathroom. Safe in the room also. Got myself the 48 hour travel pass from a tobacco shop just outside and caught the bus straight to Venice, 15 minutes or so. The pass allows you to catch the ferries in Venice also.

Situated in quiet street, however if you have a room above the neighbouring restaurant, it could be a bit noisy at night. Supermarket and other convenience stores nearby. Approx 100 metres from bus which can take you to Venice in about 45 mins. 20 minute walk direct from train station. Gentleman at reception when we arrived, however he was not there very often. Suggest paying tax when you arrive, just in case he is not there when you leave.

Perfect for going to Venice

Me and my girlfriend stayed here so we could get to Venice easily. Was very close to the number 2 bus which takes you directly to Venice in 20 minutes. Nice creperie next door.

Very pleasant stay

It is a very conveniently located hotel in Venice Mestre for a fraction of price you'd pay on the island; about 15-20 minute walk from the Mestre train station. There are two buses just around the corner: one takes you to the main bus terminal on the island in about 20 minutes and the other takes you to the Marco Polo Airport in less than half an hour. Just make sure you have bus tickets which may be difficult to obtain especially in the afternoon. The room was very pleasant with all the conveniences such as hair dryer, minibar, kettle, etc. There is no reception and you need to e-mail your arrival time for someone to be in the office.

Very good and quiet stay

The person who received us was very kind and helpful. The room was very well presented and modern. It was comfortable with a good bathroom facility but not very warm because the air conditioning wasn't working. But it was a small detail to be worried about. Good breakfast service in a very reasonable time. A good and quiet place to stay, definitely.

Great hotel for the price

This hotel is about 10-12 minute walk from Mestre train station. We got to Mestre on a late train and the walk was a bit scary as it was dark on parts of the street. Of course that is not the hotel's issue, but if you are getting there after 9 PM, I would recommend taking the bus instead of walking. The hotel itself was very comfortable and spacious. It was very close to bus stops that get you to Venice and to the airport.

Good place to stay near transportation

I booked a nonrefundable room on Hotels.com and then my plans changed. I contacted the hotel and they were able to change my room from a single to a double room, which was so nice of them! It did take a couple of days to get a hold of them, though. They emailed asking our approximate arrival in the afternoon so someone could meet us. The office is only open from 9am-3pm. The guy at the desk was helpful when trying to figure out a shuttle to the airport. They themselves don't have an airport shuttle but they have information on the ACTV buses and help you figure it out. The room was clean and comfortable. It's about a 15 minute walk from the train/bus station, but you can catch the #2 to Venice about a block away. Overall it was a good place to stay for a night and convenient for the bus/train/airport.

Clean, comfortable friendly hotel

Originally booked 2 nights but added a 3rd. This hotel only has 6 rooms, which allows it to be spacious, well maintained and modern. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Only 2 minute wall to bus stop which takes you straight in to Venice. Supermarket just around the corner and great restaurant down stairs This is a lovely hotel and I'd definitely stay again Thank you for a lovely stay : )
