"Nice looking little hotel, not on the cleanest street, but close to the beach. I was shown to my room, which was quite small so Iasked for a larger one. They were very obliging, and gave me a different room, which was a bit bigger, even though I lost the pool view....I didn't mind. There was nowhere to put my luggage, other than on the floor. Very limited hanging space, the towels were quite thin and rough and no robes provided. I would have expected some little luxuries given the description and the price of the hotel. I asked the receptionist for an iron....I was surprised by a flat 'no'! I was told I couldn't have use of an iron, but she could iron my dress for me for €8. I only wanted the bottom of my dress ironing, it would have taken me 5 minutes! I asked her to get the manager, I was quite angry at her persistent refusal. She said she was on the phone to her and she was told she couldn't give me the iron. To her credit, she saw how annoyed I was and offered to iron my dress for me free of charge. Fair enough, but I shouldn't have been put through the drama in the first place! I decided to have dinner at the hotel as I heard it was good. The receptionist told me there were 2 other tables booked in, so I booked. When I got there, I was the only one going to be eating that evening! It was a strange experience because of that, and had I have known, I'd have gone elsewhere, not that there was much choice. The dinner was nice, a bit expensive. In all, not worth the price."
