The appartment was looking like the pictures. It is not mentionned explicitly but you have the whole appartment and some towels and shampoo are provided. We enjoyed the location: close to the train and with plenty of Evo cars around. However the communication with the host was bad: we alerted him the night we arrived that the fridge was not working, the fire alarm was constantly beeping and none of the electric outlets upstairs were working. He acknowledged but did nothing so we had to throw away a lot of food because we were not able to store it in the cold from one day to another.

The laneway home was spotless. Everything is clean and new. It look exactly like the photos on Vrbo. The host was extremely responsive with any questions before and during our stay.We would absolutely consider staying here next time.

It is a nice unit. However there were no instructions inside the suite (in past cases where I stayed a bit longer I would write an instruction page if I had access to a printer, and leave it behind for the next visitor). As a result I could not figure out how to open the dishwasher. It took me a while to find the cutlery, and the ground floor toilet did not have a toilet seat. They also did not have access to local TV stations, only the TV manufacturer stations (very limited).

Jeffrey’s ADU in East Van is a really cozy, sweet place. Ideal for couples! We had a fantastic and comfortable stay. Excellent communication before and after the stay! Would stay again

Finding the VRBO, and check-in instructions were very easily laid out for us. Everything was very clean and easy to find within the kitchen. Remember to bring your own coffee grinds and filters should you want coffee. The clothing storage cubby was very helpful so our clothes wouldn’t get wrinkly. The location was also a convenient walk to the sky train to get downtown quickly. Jeffrey was very communicative and easy to reach as well. We would definitely stay here again!

a sweet little laneway stay

. rental price was reasonable. owner was very helpful and prompt with communication. suite is self-contained, 2 story, newly created(?) renovated(?), excellent condition. very clean and comfortable. well stocked kitchen re: cooking utensils etc. duvet is much too hot for summer, it would be nice if there were lighter blankets for options. cleaning costs seemed high. suite centrally located in E Van. we enjoyed staying there
