Apartment in traditional residential unit
The apartment is secure, functional and sufficient for a pleasant self catering trip to Valletta. It is located centrally at the lower end of the main thoroughfare in the city and proved to be a very convenient place to be. We had a little trouble in contacting the owners to confirm arrival but even though our plane was delayed we got into the apartment without a hitch on arrival.
The property is spacious and the bedrooms are fit for purpose; as is the bathroom and dining area.
The coolness of the interior as compared to the outside temperature took a little getting used to but did not cause a problem or detract from the holiday in any way.The bedroom on the left on entry is next to a club which plays music till late and may cause some people a problem.We could have used the other bedroom to the right but personally the effect was not massive.
We encountered a dripping from the water heater when we used the hot water which fell on to a much used passageway between the kitchen area and bedroom / bathroom..
The property advertised a bag storage facility on check out which was not available to us meaning that we had some wasted time waiting for a missed appointment and needed to transport our cases around the town for the 3 hours until we caught our airport transfer.
