Love this place!

We love this house and the seclusion it provides. Beautiful scenery and an amazing porch! Very clean and spacious and two living areas with TVs. Plenty of room to spread out or come together for movies or games. We come back each summer and this is our favorite place to stay. Perfect for our family of mostly adults and one kiddo. Lots to explore and a nice little swim pocket for us. We’ll be back next year!

Just as perfect as the last visit

This is our 2nd stay at 4Maples. We stayed back in 2017 also. It’s perfect. The location is great and they have everything you could want or need. We were worried that we wouldn’t have any water but there was plenty in front of the house to play in. One of my favorite rentals by far!

The property was well maintained and in a good location. Even though the river level was slightly low, we managed to find a close by water hole area and spent our time floating and splashing around there. We had a very relaxing mini vacation. Looking forward to visiting here again!

Like others have said they do need to replace the queen mattress in the master room. It is very loud when rolling over in the bed.

It is our 2nd time here and we will be going back every year! It is secluded, has a nice water hole for the family to enjoy the peace and quiet while enjoying the water!! The place is very spacious, 11 of us and we were never on top of each other!! If you are thinking of getting this place, DO IT!!

This is our annual family vacation and we don’t know how lucky we were to have found this place. We enjoy the solitude of the house with our own part of the Dry Frio to use. We fish, swim, eat and star gaze at night! The stars are amazing! We are close enough to Concan to float the river when possible, try restaurants in the area and cook when we want. We couldn’t ask for a better spot to spend time with each other!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time staying at 4 Maples and we absolutely loved it. So peaceful and so much space for our family. We loved seeing the deer which was everyday, and the private water area was a nice touch. I read some of the reviews of previous stays, and honestly the only recommendations I have for the owners are the replacing master bedroom mattress. It was very comfortable but very squeaky. Also I read about stains on the staircase. There are a few stains that the owner could clean up, but it absolutely was not a problem at all. Just simple wear and tear but overall the place was beautiful. I would definitely recommend this spot for a family. You will love it :) Thank you 4 Maples for wonderful memories <3

Fantastic House!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Everything was great except no working TVs. The day we arrived we called and the guy came and said that the remote was bad and he would bring a new one and that the owner of the house didn't pay the dish bill so we didn't have any tv to watch, with two toddlers that was frustrating! He said he would get it straighten out and be back. He never returned. During check out I asked if we would receive a discount considering how much we paid per night to stay there and the lady said she would ask and get back to me. I still haven't heard back. The customer service really does need to improve. We also didn't have trash pick up until the day before we left! Trash is supposed to be picked up DAILY.

Garner Trip 2023 Late July

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were concerned about the river as it has been so very dry this year. There is a small area down from the house where we were able to set up chairs & a tent for shade, and pretty much just relax. We went in to the actual park and found the water there to be not as clear or cold as in the past so that was a disappointment. The water at the house is nice in the mornings, but it did warm up in the afternoons. We enjoyed the deer viewing, and the hummingbirds as well as the small cat (keke) that lives in the area. We fed the deer as well as the cat and the birds. The house was well equipped. There are quite a few stairs (ups and downs in groups of 3 steps) and one main staircase going up to the 2 additional bedrooms and bath. Getting to the water was a nice path but of course you must wear shoes and be careful. There are parts of the river that are quite slippery with green moss. We had a great time but found if you come in late July or early August many of the shops in the area are only open on the weekends. Overall we truly enjoyed ourselves. Dinner at Neals was a good treat one eveming, other than that, we cooked at the house.

A Perfect Getaway

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful stay. Well decorated and spacious cabin perfectly located on the Dry Frio (Don’t worry, there is plenty of water flowing). We really enjoyed our stay. Too many positives to list. The only recommendation I would give the home owner is that it may be time to replace the downstairs queen mattress. I didn’t mind the softness but my wife struggled to get comfortable. Other than that... everything was perfect. As an aside... if you have Verizon or T-Mobile don’t expect to have service but apparently AT&T worked fine.We will definitely be staying here again someday... hopefully soon.

Love this place!

This was our 2nd summer to stay here and we love it! So spacious and the views are amazing. We enjoyed the deer all over the property and watching the sunrise from the back porch. The swimming hole is perfect for our small family. We will be back!

Management company was very attentive to issues we brought up at the end of our stay (it was nothing that effected our stay, but could for future guests.) We would stay here again.

The place was great. Mother Nature decided on a drought so it was difficult to spend time in the river. The beds could be better. Everything creaks really loudly. It was a good spot for a group getaway

We love that we have our own private part of the Dry Frio River. We enjoy sitting on the back porch, floating in the water, and gazing at the stars at night. It is very private and we LOVE every minute of our stay! It has become our summer family tradition!
