"This place is fantastic. If you’re looking for a quiet, private lake getaway, you found it.The view from the house is gorgeous – calm water, ducks hanging by the dock, and blue herons and ospreys (pretty sure that’s what we saw) flying overhead. The flat backyard that runs right to the water made it super easy to play outside and hang by the lake.This was a big college football weekend, but with the big TVs in both the main house and the boathouse, we never felt like we were missing anything or stuck indoors. We spent a ton of time on the huge wrap-around deck grilling and just hanging out. Inside, everything was clean and thoughtfully set up – the kitchen was fully stocked, and the primary bedroom/bathroom suite was surprisingly large and nicely separated from the other rooms.Overall, the house was comfortable, relaxing, and really had that true “getaway” vibe. We’ll definitely be back!"
