The space:

Upper Deck is located at Terrace Beach Resort at the end of town just steps away from the beach, the lush rainforest and the Wild Pacific Trail. From your balcony you can hear the Ocean waves and view the Eagles nest with three baby Bald Eagles born this spring.

Our little gem is just steps away from Terrace Beach and the Wild Pacific Trail which takes you to the Amphitrite Point Lighthouse - a must see. Only a 2km walk from town where you'll find all the local spots. Be sure to checkout Little Beach on your way! Ukee is a small town and you are in the heart of it.

The gorgeous post & beam accents will leave you feeling the West Coast vibes. Come unwind.

After a day of exploring - we have everything you need. Relax in the deep soaker tub in your full bathroom. Very comfy queen bed, double sofa bed on the main level, and a single sofa fold-out chair if you need it but best suited for a child. A kitchenette with stove top, full-size fridge, microwave, bbq located on the boardwalk in front of the unit, Free wifi, and a balcony to soak it all in.

Town is just a short walk from the resort where you will find everything you need from all the favourite local gems such as Zoe's Bakery, the Brewery, Ucluelet Aquarium, plenty of great restaurants to choose from and local shops with locally made goods.

You will have private and exclusive access to the entire loft. The loft is located on the boardwalk with several wooden structures that host other units.

Property was clean, check-in was easy. Owner communicated with us regularly to check-in. Had most things you would need to cook simple meals. Would be good to add a salad spinner. Wifi worked perfectly. No TV but it did us good to disconnect and there were a few board games we played every night. Very close to nice hiking trails. Would need extra dishrags and an additional set of sheets for the chair that reclines into a bed. Overall I would recommend it as a good place to stay.

A costal retreat

My mom and I stayed here for a couple nights, I now live 1300km away from Vancouver Island, and this was a very nice spot to set up base for some exploring. Very tidy, cute decor, easy check in and great communication with the host!

The location is great. Staff friendly. The unit was clean and had everything we needed. It was extremely noisy with the construction across the road which I think should have been mentioned. Otherwise all was good and we would come again. Thanks to Bran for his help.

The property is lovely, very clean and equipped with all that a visitor could need. The dishes and cutlery are top quality and appreciated. The bathroom was clean and plenty of towels, liked the nightlight. Upstairs bed very comfortable, pullout couch was ok. The floorboards upstairs are creaking and loud, uneven too. The spare sheets, found under bed in loft had an unpleasant odour, possibly from infrequent use and type of soap used to wash them. This was mentioned to one of the housekeepers. Otherwise, the stay was much enjoyed here and I would book here again.

A little piece of heaven

We absolutely loved staying at this beautiful property. Honestly the best location we could have asked for in Ucluelet as it was just steps from the West Pacific Trail. We saw so much wildlife on our hikes around Terrace Beach and the Lighthouse Loop every morning before we did so many other activities during the day. Such a wonderful, cozy and so nicely decorated loft - we didn’t want to leave! Bryan was such an amazing host and made our experience even more amazing. We hope to come back as soon as we can get back to the beautiful island paradise!
