The bungalow style rooms were fantastic. My girlfriend and I stayed here for a week and really enjoyed the amenities and setting of the hotel. The room, actually a spacious canvas hut, was quite comfortable, quiet, clean and beautifully surrounded by jungle vegetation. My only complaint was that the outdoor shower had no hot water, and I didn't really like going out to the outdoor toilet at night. Also, the included breakfast was great, the resort had a small but nice beach area and pool. They do need to upgrade their kitchen cuisine. For the price expected a better dinner menu.

Ambiance was amazing, consistent with my last stay at Our Habitas Bacalar… a true eco luxury experience. Fun seeing a coati on site in the early AM! Staff was also amazing: Giovanna at the spa plus some of the best massages I’ve had from Christiana, Edmeda, Elda and Pady. Our wait staff, Armando and Francisco were so kind and lovely also.
