This hotel is a gem. 5 minute walk from the central train station, 10 minure walk from the city center, and right across from the main bus stops. It's incredibly quiet and clean. The staff is kind, warm, and attentive. Our room was simple but incredibly clean, comfortable, and quiet. The bathroom needed some remodeling but it was not an issue for us since it was perfectly clean. The breakfast buffet was INCREDIBLE. Tea, coffee, cappuccino, hot chocolate AND cookies are available to the guests in the dining room 24 hours a day at no additional cost. After we checked out at 11am, they kept our luggages for free in the office until 3:30pm, so we could walk around the city without worrying about carrying them around. Best choice ever!

DONT STAY HERE

Do not stay at this hotel. It was the worst hotel me and my husband have ever stayed at. Check in was at 3:00 and by 4:00 we already checked out. The AC wasn’t working, the walls were dirty (it felt like a prison cell) also the bathrooms had mold growing from the ceiling. Save your money and don’t stay here!!

This is a beautiful,old hotel. While it is suffering from a little wear and tear it is still a nice place to stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was excellent with a great selection. The area outside the hotel is loud and a bit run down but still safe and only a short walk from key attractions. Despite the noise outside, inside the hotel was quiet and we never heard any street noises in our room.

Great location, quiet room with double glazed windows. No safe in room. High ceilings.Excellent breakfast. Air conditioning adequate for mid September, however it was set to not go below 22degrees Celsius (73 degrees. Fahrenheit.) which may not be sleeping temperature for some North Americans.
