We stayed in this unit June 23-25 (2 nights). Overall we were happy with the unit and the area. The only problem we discovered came a few days after we left. One of our party of 4 discovered several small bites on her legs that got progressively worse over a couple of days, leading her to go to urgent care. The doctor diagnosed them as bed bug bites.
She was in the bedroom with the queen bed. The sheets on the bed were dark gray so any evidence of bed bugs would have been difficult to see, not that we were looking for anything like that but light colored sheets would have made it easier to spot them.
The only other issue was the noise factor. The unit was on the front of the building facing Front Street and was only the width of the sidewalk away from the busy street. It was a bit noisy and made sleeping a tad challenging. A provided small white noise machine was of no value.
Otherwise the unit was pretty clean. We would strongly recommend a complete cleaning of both beds, including mattresses and box spring, as well as a thorough disinfectant cleaning of the floors, walls and furniture.
