Our home is a get away for all seasons. The fall colors are magical in Traverse City and on Long Lake. Our guests also love snowmobiling on our lake and ice fishing in the winter. Our hot tub is available year round to make your visit extra special.

Villa Azul is a place where you can truly disconnect from the daily grind and focus on what matters most: spending time with the people you care about. From relaxing in the hot tub to playing basketball or simply soaking in the beauty of the lake, you’ll find plenty of ways to unwind and have fun.

At Villa Azul, the lake is right at your doorstep. There are no steep steps to the water, making this a great home for a multi-generational stay. Spend your days lounging on our private sandy beach, take a kayak out for a peaceful paddle, or fish off the private dock. In the evenings, relax in the hot tub, gather around the fire pit for s’mores and stories, or enjoy the stunning sunset views from the expansive deck. When the weather is cooler, enjoy a ping pong or pool competition in our heated garage. Play VR games in the kids room, or have a Karaoke night. We’ve designed our home to make your time here effortless and enjoyable, with a focus on both comfort and fun.

Our open and spacious living area features panoramic windows that bring the outdoors in, giving you an unbeatable view of Long Lake. Cozy up around the gas fireplace after a day of outdoor adventure or settle in for a movie night with the family. The fully equipped kitchen boasts modern appliances, perfect for preparing delicious meals to enjoy with family and friends. We do provide basic condiments for you to prepare your meals including olive oil, vinegar, salt and pepper and some basic spices. We have a Keurig machine, a Nespresso and drip coffee. We even have a dedicated chef`s closet stocked with all the gadgets you could need, including a crockpot, smoothie blender, immersion blender, handheld mixer, and an electric griddle. Kids love our soda maker and our shaved ice machine is a huge hit with our younger guests. Our dining table seats 10-12 persons.

Traveling with kids? We’ve got you covered! The kids` bedroom is a play haven with a Nex playground video game console, a Meta Quest 2 VR system for immersive gaming, and plenty of board games for everyone to enjoy. We have a heated garage with a pool table and a ping pong table for more family fun. We also provide a crib, Pack n Play, high chair, and child-friendly plates and utensils to make your stay as easy and stress-free as possible.


The main level features a king bedroom with a bath room in the hallway. Upstairs you’ll find one additional king and two queen bedrooms, as well as a kid-friendly room with three pull out twin beds and a queen daybed. For ultimate comfort, we provide toiletries, bedding and towels, so you have an easy time packing for your stay.

With a prime location just 10 minutes from downtown Traverse City, you’re never far from restaurants, unique shops, and local attractions. Whether you’re biking the Tart Trail, exploring the wineries, or visiting Moomers Ice Cream, everything you need for a perfect vacation is within reach. And if you want to add even more adventure, we can arrange for a pontoon boat or jet skis to be delivered right to our dock.

Pets are welcome on a case by case basis, for a fee of $100 per pet per stay.
