There are always activities at the visitor center like hot air balloons, club meets, lumberjack competitions or music festivals. We stayed in a comfortable small cabin with territorial views. The water failed on the morning we checked out (all homes in area failed, not the owner's fault.) The management arranged for delivery of enough water to flush toilets and also some bottled water for drinking. We highly recommend it.

This is our favorite cabin for the view, location and easy access without steep roads. It’s an easy commute to pigeon Forge, gatlinburg, and our favorite Cades cove. We hope to have the chance to bring our little family again next year.
