Ridgeline Hotel at Yellowstone, an Ascend Collection Hotel
"Overall our stay at Ridgeline was positive. There were a few things that could have been better. Check in was 4pm. We got to the property early and knew it would be a stretch for the room to be ready. We were told to come back at 3pm which was completely fine. At 3pm, the room still wasn't ready and again, we were okay with that knowing it was still an hour until the official check in time. We were able to sit and enjoy the scenery in their outdoor fit pit area. I kept checking back in to see if the room was ready and we weren't able to get in until 4:30pm. It would have been nice if they could have asked the cleaning staff to tend to our room knowing we were there and ready to check in. Upon entering our riverfront room there were a dozen flies in the window. My husband took care of them. We also noticed many moths/gnats in the room...later that night after it rained there were thousands of gnats on the outside walkway. I'm not complaining knowing that the bugs come with the riverfront view - just awareness for others that might be looking to book the riverfront! We loved the view and my husband spent quite some time looking for animals on the hillside. My kids, 17 and 13, loved the s'more packet in the evening and my son took a spin around the parking lot with the bicycles on property. Overall the stay was very nice!"
