The host was great—very responsive, easy to communicate with, and overall wonderful to work with. We stayed during the winter when temperatures were extremely cold (around 0 degrees). The owners did an excellent job keeping the driveway, porch, and back deck completely shoveled after a significant snowfall (about 1–1.5 feet), which was much appreciated.We were able to use the hot tub during our stay, but it wasn’t quite as enjoyable as we had hoped. The home was also a bit challenging to keep warm in the main living areas during the extreme cold, though the bedrooms were comfortable with their individual split units and the bathrooms stayed warm thanks to the baseboard heat.Overall, a pleasant stay with a great host, especially given the unusually cold winter conditions.

We had a wonderful time celebrating Christmas at the house. It was very comfortable and a great location. Kirk the host was so helpful with any issues we had. We had special visitors every night that totally made our vacation experience.

Great place in the Pocono mountains! House was just as pictured. The host was very quick and helpful with any questions I had. We saw plenty of deer and even a black bear. It was great! We look forward to returning.

Great property in the Poconos

Bare minimum essentials

My family arrived for our annual Presidents’ Day mountain weekend trip. Upon arrival the driveway and steps/front porch were not plowed or shoveled, which made for a slippery entrance. The home was clean and layout seemed a nice fit for our family. However, upon checking out or new home for the there’s days we found the hot tub completely unusable. The cover was completely broken and sunk into the hot tub. Half of the water was missing and there was floating debris everywhere. When I reached out to the owners, he wanted us to lift the cover out and fill it with a hose that was frozen to the deck. We told him we were unable to so he sent his “handyman” the next day. He showed up a little after lunch and when my husband went out to talk with him, he told us that it’s pretty bad and that we should not go in it at all. This really upset the kids…we always get a home with a hot tub every year to give us a day of relaxing. They never reached out to tell us. This only left the games and television to watch. However, if you don’t have subscriptions to stream then you’re screwed. No cable! After a nice Saturday meal, kids were cleaning up and we loaded the dishwasher to learn that it doesn’t work. I would not consider the kitchen “fully” stocked, missing so many essential things. The neighbors were rude in respect to quiet times. There was always loud noises, either neighbors diesel trucks or loud buzzing through the home. We made the best, but will not rent again

Great time in the snow

Storm blew though and we had a great family time relaxing by the fireplace and in the hot tub. Owner called to make sure we were prepared. Everything we needed was available. Would definitely stay again.

Great Getaway

House was cozy and great for our four person winter getaway. Fireplace and hot tub were a highlight. Neighborhood is gated which is nice for security, but adds an extra step to check in at a separate rec center. House was clean and stocked, a few minor things like some missing lightbulbs and loose fixtures but overall we enjoyed!

Lovely long weekend

We had an intimate Thanksgiving weekend at this great location. Comfortable beds, zone heating so everyone was cozy, a hot tub we enjoyed in the 20 degree weather and a nice neighborhood to walk our dog. Quiet and relaxing with lots of deer roaming in this woodsy setting.
