Thank you for the high rating. I am puzzled, however, by your comments. Our garden is intended to be a lush display of tropical greenery and colorful plants. Our guests especially enjoy the birds, butterflys and squirrels that in habit it. I do wish you had mentioned what you found "un-neat" in the common areas. We strive to maintain a clean and comfortable venue for all guests and would certainly address anything you found amiss.

Thank you for the great review! We are so happy you enjoyed your stay and hope you will return again! Actually only two of our suites have an Asian influenced décor. Our Opal and Lighthouse suites are very beachy, the Ruby is 1920's themed., the Emerald is tropical, the Sapphire is garden themed and the Diamond is Victorian. Many of our repeat guests stay in a different themed suite each time to experience them all!

I am happy that you enjoyed the wine, beer and appetizers and I am glad that you found the Bed and Breakfast clean and our staff friendly. I recall that you said you had never been to a Bed and Breakfast before and it is true that Bed and Breakfasts are very different then hotels. We go through rigorous life safety inspections and pass with no violations. I did go up and check the door on your suite and it opens and closes easily, so I am not sure what problem you encountered. had you come to us with any problem, we would have done our best to fix it immediately. Our Breakfast buffet is served hot with a variety of offerings which change each day. It is refreshed constantly and the serving dishes are on a heated tray to ensure nothing is served cold. I am sorry it was not to your taste. I wish you safe and happy travels in the future.

I'm glad that you enjoyed so many things about your visit to the Casa, Del. And we enjoyed having you! Our suites vary in size from about 500 sq. ft to 1100 sq. ft., so there is quite a variety of size and décor options. The suite you chose, the Topaz, is our smallest suite, so it may have seemed a bit cramped with three adults and the attendant luggage, etc. Many of our return guests choose a different suite each time until they find their favorite! We hope to see you again soon.
