Book a hotel near Titsey Place and Gardens, Oxted

"We stayed for one night and were impressed by how well kept the hotel is following its refurbishment a few years ago. Our room was clean, nicely furnished, and the bed was extremely comfortable. We enjoyed some time in the bar and had dinner in the restaurant, where the menu offered plenty of choice and the food was very good. Breakfast was equally enjoyable, with options to suit all tastes. The staff were excellent throughout our stay — polite, helpful and genuinely friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room, Falcor, is located at the back of the hotel above the kitchen. Unfortunately, this meant our night’s sleep was disturbed by occasional noise from what seemed to be a fan or kitchen equipment, followed by a much louder noise at 7:00 am when the kitchen extractor system was switched on for breakfast preparations. Would we stay again? Absolutely — just not in Falcor. "

"The staff were great, the breakfast was delicious, and the location was spot on. Having onsite parking was a great bonus. Although generally clean, the decor was tired looking. I would have added an extra star if the presentation had been better. Overall, good value for the money. "

"Communication about flat location was confusing so we needed to phone for advice. Inside the property was neat and comfortable, but not as clean as we’d have liked. Milk sachets in fridge over a year out of date! Smart TV couldn’t just be turned on to reach BBC/ITV etc, and no TV instructions available inside property."
