"I have a love hate for this hotel. The property is absolutely gorgeous but the problem I run into is the downstairs kitchen. The cooks down there can not even cook an egg properly. Everyday I have to send food back because it is raw, overcooked, or the wrong food. The Cassava restaurant is very very nice and they will cater to whatever you desire with a good selection of fresh caught food. But the downstairs restaurant is consistently mismanaged. One day i was eating a salad and it had a rock in it. I almost broke my tooth. One day I had to send my eggs back three times. This has been an ongoing problem since the last time I visited. I recommend visiting this hotel but avoid the buffet restaurant at all cost if possible."

"I had an incredible experience at Cranganor History Cafe Riverside Chateau—the riverside setting was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views and a sense of peace and quiet. The freshly prepared food was outstanding, the rooms were impeccably clean, and the staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful."

"Loved our stay! The bungalowhotel was very clean and the staff were helpful and let us check in after the closing time. The view of the ocean is stunning, and being right next to the beach was a highlight, perfect for nice walks along the ocean. They serve breakfast, though it tends to be a bit spicy, make sure to ask in advance for what you prefer. Note that the waves are too big for swimming, but the area is quiet and relaxing, a perfect getaway from the city chaos."
