Grand Old World Charm on the beach.

Centara is such a convenient hotel to all the amenities of Hua Hin. Access to the beach is great and if you’re not interested in the beach the pools are all excellent options. The hotel itself is grand with incredible old world charm. All the town has to offer is within a 15 minute walk.

Beautiful decor that recalls the 19th century heyday of aristocratic Siamese tourism by the Chakri dynasty court, which gave Hua Hin its start. The whole property feels classy and elegant, decorated with many antiques and good simulacra of Franco-Siamese architecture of the colonial era. Comfy beds, great bathrooms, nice pool area and easy beach access.

Stayed for 5 nights to relax from BKK. Great hotel with beautifully sculpted grounds. Excellent staff. Nice and clean pool. Security was tight and stationed at all entry points. We go the HH every time we visit Thailand for short getaways but have always stayed at the Hilton. This time we decided to stay next door and were not disappointed. Awesome resort and definitely will return.

Well worth it

Enjoyed our second stay after 10 years. Room and balcony are spacious and clean. Buffet breakfast is perhaps not quite what it was before but is still very adequate. The location can’t be beaten.

Fun Visit to Hua Hin

The Centara Grand Beach Resort & Villas Hua Hin provided us with an amazing stay. We had a basic King bed accommodation with a partial ocean view. It was a wonderful place to be. This historical campus preserves its interesting past but is also kept very much up-to-date with two large pool areas and right next to the beach. The staff was incredible, and the hospitality shown was excellent. There’s even a daycare for young families. The food selection was very good and the cocktails were well made. It is also minutes walk from great places to eat, drink, or get a spa treatment in Hua Hin proper and to visit the night market. The hotel was also very secure and well-monitored it was already a safe town.

Mixed review. The room was amazing and dpacious with an enormous bed and I had a great view overlooking the sea. The housekeeping staff and the team at breakfast were also very friendly and always greeted, but the rest of the staff were a bit stand offish, especially at the pool. I went to The Club one evening to get a coffee and something small to eat, but was told they only had a buffet and it was mostly for club members, even though the sign clearly says hotel guests welcome. It was suggested I go somewhere else, which I did and did eat again, other than breakfast, at this resort.
