Overpriced

Definitely bare-bones and very over-priced. We've paid less for very nice hotels. No shampoo or fridge, tiny rooms with tiny beds. Housekeeping is excellent, however. Very clean.

Best Deal in Old Town Temecula

We did experience problems with our Travelocity reservation, but the Motel 6 staff was so patient and got on the phone right away to fix it. 2nd time staying at this motel, love the location.

OverAll Thoughts on my Stay

Pros: The Location & price (for a one night stay)
Cons: some rugs on the floor would be nice, coffee machine in the room or soda machine outside would be nice as well
Location: Great location, down the street from the wine country of Temecula, close to grocery stores, banks and some fast food places, ie.- restaurants as well
They (staff) had a problem with the credit card machine upon check-in to the motel, the room was clean and they did have cable TV (DirectTV) Nice but the walls are thin so you hear your next door neighbor (person in the next room over) and they had hard wood floors not carpet, the grounds were nice and the staff was friendly.

Not much room for the money

Pros: Location to Old Towne and the wine country
The location was great, just a short walk away from Old Towne Temecula, but that's about the only good thing we can say about it. It was as stark as a room could possibly be in terms of amenities. Absolutely nothing to make us want to come back. The tile in the shower was so discolored and dirty we didn't even use it. The bed was clean, but the sheets were stained and should have been replaced with new ones. There was no closet to hang clothes, just a small rack underneath the TV. Motel 6 can certainly do better than this.....especially for $164 a night!

Decent hotel in decent location

Pros: It was all acceptable, but nothing to get excited about. Was quieter than I expected.
Cons: Showers could use some safety features, like a guide rail and tub treads. The dangerously-flimsy styrofoam coffee cups in the lobby should be replaced
Location: Good location, walkable to Old Town Temecula. Perfect freeway on/off access location.
First-time stay at this hotel in Old Town Temecula. Staff was pleasant and accommodating to my request.

Nice enough

Didn't like management. Young lady with curly hair. And older man ( owner/manager)

Hotel of last choice.

My preference was another location that was already booked. If you travel with a pet, no problem the dog walk is really close, right outside the door of 111. We did not have a dog with us, but the smell and deposits were close at hand. I asked for a room close to handicao parking, the closest was improperly marked so I feared to use it. I asked for a non-smoking room, and could smell the smoke from people smoking while walking by. Seems to be an issue with towels, room for two, one wash cloth stocked several times. The plumbing chatters like a machinegun due to a valve issue on the hand sink. Great water pressure for the shower, until you turn on the shower head. The toilet is nice, if you don't need someplace to set, as there is no lid. There are numerous hooks to hang from, no hangers. Comforters were not fresh. The TV was nice, but the channels don't seem to represent what's playing. The wood floors appear nice, until someone on the floor above wears heels. The location is convenient and is easy walking to downtown. I would not stay there again, I would have complained in person, not so sure anyone would understand or care.

Staff was excellent. Very modest rooms. No hair dryer or toiletries. You have to pay additional for Internet access. The mattresses are crunchy and noisy when moving or turning, very annoying. Wall AC was very efficient and quiet. TV clarity is horrible. New wood floors are very nice without any carpet

Walk to Old Town Temecula from here

Pros: The price, the location, the room.
Cons: You could add a 2nd trash can, 2nd mirror, softer linens & towels, face tissue & toiletries but if that keeps the price down, then I have no complaint
Location: Lovely little area of town, convenient but not too close to the freeway and you can walk to Old Town Temecula.
This was a perfect little place for us to spend the night. The price is reasonable and the room was clean and attractive. We took our small dog and there were several places to walk her. We didn't use the pool but it looked nice. It was quiet (we were on the top floor). Don't expect a lot of extras like free breakfast, toiletries or appliances, but the morning coffee they serve in the lobby was quite good and we brought everything we needed. The area around the hotel was nicely landscaped and you can walk to Old Town from there and not have to find parking. There was plenty of parking available even though they were full.
