This is a very nice property, on the inside. It's a shame that for our stay at least, it was not managed properly or serviced to a bare minimum standard. Communication was extremely poor. No check in info message either the day before or the morning of arrival I got a door code, but had to follow up with a text to get the address. Upon entry there was no house book or info, including the WiFi info. Had to text again for that, took a second text to get a response finally, two hours later (!) Housekeeping - hardly any toilet paper. Nearly empty rolls in both bathrooms, no spare rolls stocked. I finally found one roll in the back of closet. There was a sign in one bathroom that says "Text if you need TP!" Really? Is it rationed?There was no soap or shampoo stocked in either shower, found some by digging into various closets. Dirty fridge shelving. Nice antique bed that was so loud, creaky, it woke up my wife whenever I slightly moved (easy handyperson fix). The house is very nicely remodeled inside. Outside was a bit shabby with overgrown weedy beds, broken tree branches, unswept porches, dirty porch furniture, broken fence gate.I don't like to do negative reviews and there is a lot to like about this property. I just write this in the hopes that the management and the housekeeper will do better by the next guests. We come to Taylor often and they missed an opportunity with us for repeat business. We just had to do too much of the work that they should be doing.
