We stayed in 5 different hotels during our entire trip and this 1 was the best for value, comfort, cleanliness and more. It is quiet and safe. You can tell that a lot of thought went into customer convenience and comfort when designing the room. Even though the room is small, it was fine for our needs. The breakfast thaat was included in our booking was minimal, but sufficient (toast, yogurt, fruit cup, juice). Friendly and helpful front desk service. Easy to get to restaurants nearby. Safe and easy parking.

Small room with no storage space in bathroom and kitchen area. Bedding and towels were clean, toiletries were good quality but the bed was uncomfortable with massive dip in it.

Aroha checked us in with a warm welcome and she was absolutely fantastic!! We aren’t used to the 10 early checkout throughout NZ and she was the first place to offer us 11. (We didn’t even ask elsewhere as most indicated it wasn’t an option.) This was our favorite room so far in our trip. It was new, techy, clean and modern. Easy parking in front, a delicious breakfast delivered to our room and we strolled to the waterfront with access to awesome bars and restaurants all around. Thank you so much, CitySide! Future guests will also surely appreciate your top notch hotel.

Superior accommodation close to the waterfront. Easy access to the best parts of Tauranga. Modern and well presented, this accommodation was easily the best of all those we stayed at in our week long North Island trip. Friendly and helpful host. On the plus side, the accommodation was close to the main shopping area in town, very clean and tidy, and the manager was a pleasant chap. However, the room was very small - little space to move around and terrible lighting, especially if you are older - it was quite dim. There was nowhere to put an open suitcase other than on the bed. The bed was comfortable, but the pillows were over-stuffed and unpleasant to sleep on. The staircase to the first-floor rooms was very narrow and steep. There was no dining facility, and while there were a few restaurants within a few minutes walk, we found none that provided breakfast. We have stayed in better hotels in other cities for a lot cheaper fee.

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night as part of our trip. The room was lovely and very modern. We had a king suite which was perfect for us. Staff were very friendly too. It’s a handy location to walk to the bars and restaurants and shops. We will stay here again…😊

We overall had a great room and space. We did notice there were two different housekeepers, one cleaned paid attention to detail, the other cleaned the room but did not do as great a job. We enjoyed our stay overall as it is in walking distance to most restaurants and the venue for our conference. Would definitely recommend it for anyone staying in Tauranga.

Beautiful clean accommodation, within walking distance to town. We were very impressed with everything, and the front desk were proactive in contacting us ahead of time as to where the key would be left if the desk was unmanned.
