Was a bit noisy with very small TV but we found the bed very hard causing pins and needles. In the end I slept on the pillow as I had my own one for my head.

This hotel is perfectly located by the water and an easy walk into town. The room was very large and the outdoor grill area an extra bonus. There was plenty of parking available.

Outdated in Taupo

This property was totally outdated, inside and out. From the spiderweb covered exterior to the 1970’s sofas and carpets, the location is all this property has going for it.

Stay here if you are tolerant to cleanliness

We booked 2 bedroom apartment for 5 people as we were advised there was a sofa bed, however the sofa bed was not long enough for even 5 foot person, so 3 of us ended up sleeping on a queen bed with our feet hanging. The only descent thing is the bathrooms are simple but clean while the sofa looks old and dirty and the chairs on the balcony are dirty (full of birds’ drops). In our last 8 nights in NZ this was the worse accomodation while others have similar price range.

Location is absolutely ideal. Right on the water and walking distance to everything in Taupo. Our room and balcony overlooked the lake. Furnishings could use a little refresh.
