I really liked this hotel. It was very clean and the staff gave great service. We were disappointed to learn that we had to rent beach chairs and umbrellas to use on the beach. So for 6 of us, it would have cost almost $300 a day to stay on the beach. I think this ridiculous especially when you are paying a resort fee of $35 a day per person. What does that fee go towards?

We had a great stay at this Hilton. It is centrally located so easy walking to everything in Clearwater Beach. Pool is great on ground floor and beach is easy to access.

Great location, nice room, and delightful staff. Just the right spot for a Spring Training weekend. Beach and pool are lovely. Coffee and restaurants in very close walking distance. Lyft to Phillies ballpark for around $25.

Overall, I enjoyed my stay. Food and service was wonderful, however, I have stayed elsewhere for less and felt like I received more. Perhaps at one time, it was a premium place to stay however I felt that I stayed at an average place for a premium price. Details matter, and things like dirty carpet or bulbs burnt out in the elevator buttons are something a premium place should notice. Like I said, my stay was better than average but it lacked that something special that would make me feel like I needed to come back again.

It's a pretty decent beach hotel...

It's a slightly above average property. A big step up from a motel, but a big step down from a property like the Sandpearl. Lots of kids and young adults traveling with parents. Tame crowd even during Spring Break. Friendly staff, perfect location, clean property, nice pool, and let's be honest, a beautiful beach in the backyard. The negative here is that it's an older property and where that hit us the hardest was the air conditioner unit which sounded like we were sleeping in an auto repair shop. That was rough. If they had a quiet air conditioner, this review would look a lot different. Lower level lobby, elevators, hallways, and balconies all need some revamping as well--all serviceable and not horrible. Reminds me a bit of walking back in time 10-15 years ago. It wouldn't take much to take the Hilton Clearwater to the next level.

My Hilton Stay

Had an amazing vacation and love most the service from Lena at valet to the lobby bar crew. Aileen and Zach were amazing and Dillion was the add-on go to person. We will definitely be back in the future.

Loved the location it was beautiful! Along with the pool. Not happy about the extra $280 we had to pay when checking in for valet services and resort fees (wasn’t much included for the fee we paid).

Weekend trip

The location is great. This is an older hotel that has had some updates. It wasn’t the cleanest of rooms but it was ok. The pool was very nice. Cabana on the beach was wonderful.
