Fontana Village Resort
"The property was large with various accommodations from small cabins, family size cabins and a couple of mult-room motel type buildings. We stayed in one of the motel buildings. It was quiet, clean and comfortable. There are many hiking, fishing, rafting and siteseeing options near by plus an on site swimming pool. The property originally the construction center for Fontana Dam in the early 1940s. I have enjoyed rafting on the Nantahala, riding the Tail of the Dragon on motorcycle and by car. Dining options are limited and not all facilities are handicapped accessible with stairs to some. We will go back."
