I liked the hot breakfast and some of the front desk staff were helpful. However I wouldnt stay here again. 021 - Jun 21, 2021 Real-time Feedback Sad Face Check-in Problem with reservation Venus Hall What was the issue with the reservation? Jun 18, 6:29 AM When I got here, I was told that my reservation was cancelled by Expedia. There was no reservation listed under Travelocity for some reason, which didn't make sense to me because I received a confirmation email that my reservation was active the day prior to my arrival. When I asked the staff who cancelled it, there was no information really given. So I didn't get the room that I was supposed to get which was double queen beds. The hotel was booked except for one room and they only had one king size bed which we had to take because we checked in very late from getting out of the airport. Ive also had other issues with the staff, I reached out to the night shift and morning shift at the hotel for my room to be cleaned on the second day I was here and when I came back it wasn't done. The next day I mentioned this to the staff and asked for my room to be cleaned, when I came back it was cleaned in a spot check way, they didn't thoroughly clean the room, the mirrors were dirty, they gave us no new towels, and no new toilet paper roll. I'm not sure if the linen was changed, but I hope it was. Also they left the door ajar, so that when we came back anyone couldve come into the room, they didn't shut the door properly after clean

This was my first time in Tampa and it was a great time the location was close to plenty of activities for my group and the Check in staff was able to tell us fun things to do in town and where the nearest beach was
