"The stay at the Dillard house was excellent, a lot of construction going on. Staff was very personable and friendly. We rode the horses at the stables for 1.5 hours and had the best time m new. The tour guide was excellent and very informative on what to do and expect on our ride. We ate breakfast at the resultant which was very clean and had a very nice staff. I was not impressed with the food taste. Went back that evening to have dinner but did not like what the choices that were on the menu so we did not stay."

"There was a swarm of bugs in front of our room that were unavoidable to get through the door. The lock inside looked like it had been ripped off the door frame a few times. The paint job in the room was rushed and incomplete. It looked like there was a cockroach leg stuck to the wall in the shower. The employee who checked us in wasn't wearing shoes and had a general vibe of uncleanliness. The television wasn't set up in our room. The overall vibe of the hotel was so bad that we checked out a day early and got a room at a different hotel."

"Apparently the property was in the process of being changed over from a Super 8 to a Quality Inn. So there was a lot of construction and updating going on at the time. The breakfast was minimal but fine. The secure wifi was out for our entire visit and the public wifi was out for at least half of the time. While the hotels.com listing said the parking was free, we were charged $3/night fee on arrival. We asked about that on check out and a different employee refunded the fee. However, the employee who had originally charged us saw and was very disgruntled, saying she was told that should never be done, no matter what the website said. The room itself seemed reasonably clean. However we did get some strange bug bites while there (maybe spiders) and we found trash from previous occupants in drawers."
