About this property

Heritage Brick Studio by Rotermann City Apts

Listing description:

Stay in a protected heritage building (cultural monument)! This compact 22 m² studio blends historic charm with modern efficiency. Enjoy the safety of a 24/7 reception desk and a grand hotel-style lobby. Located perfectly on the border of the medieval Old Town and the trendy Rotermann Quarter. Featuring soaring 4m ceilings, an exposed brick wall, and a cozy sleeping loft, it is the ideal base for solo travelers or couples. Elevator access in the building.

Property:

Our 22 m² two-level (loft-style) studio is designed to maximize character in a compact footprint.

Historic Atmosphere: You are staying in a protected heritage building. The apartment features a genuine 19th-century exposed brick wall and high ceilings, creating a unique loft vibe.

Sleeping Nest (Mezzanine): The queen-size bed is tucked away on the upper loft level. Please note: the sleeping area has lower ceiling height and is reached by stairs, creating a snug, “cocoon-like” feeling.

Comfort: We provide reading lights and a tower fan to keep the air moving on warmer nights.

Safety: The loft is secured with a sturdy railing, offering a view of the brick wall below.

Nordic-Style Bathroom: The bathroom is a compact wet-room style bathroom (the shower area is separated by a curtain).
Good to know: The floor may get wet during showers, but the underfloor heating helps it dry quickly.

Kitchenette: Everything you need for breakfast or light snacks. Includes a mini fridge, microwave, capsule coffee machine, kettle, and essential tableware.

Guest access:

You will be staying in a private studio within a secure, historic building.
24/7 Reception: Arrive anytime! No stress with lockboxes—our reception team is always at the desk to hand you the keys.
Elevator: The building has a modern lift (with mirrors), making it easy to get your luggage to the 2nd floor.

Interaction with guests:

We respect your privacy but are always available if you need us.
On-site: The building has a 24/7 reception desk ready to assist you with keys, luggage storage, or general questions.
Online: I am just a message away via the app for any local recommendations or specific requests.

Other details to note:

Compact Living: This is a 22 m² studio. It is designed for active travelers who prioritize location, safety, and history over large square footage.
Accessibility: The sleeping area is accessible only via stairs.
Parking: Secure parking is available in the yard for €10 / 24h (subject to availability upon arrival; cannot be reserved).

The room is really cute and you cant beat the location being right next to Old Town and Rotterman right behind the property. It is also in walking distance to the Harbour where the ferries come from Helsinki. It was a really easy check in.

Lage perfekt

At the steps of beautiful Old Town Tallinn

We visited Tallinn for our first time this past weekend. We could not have been happier with the location of our loft apartment. It was within steps of the beautiful Old City of Tallinn. The apartment and building were both in immaculate shape, a taste of the old and the modern. Our correspondence with Merje was pleasant in every way. We look forward to a return visit to Tallinn.
