We had a wonderful stay at amba. The room was clean, bright, and spacious for 2 people. Staff were so friendly. We appreciated the free laundry facility available as we stayed for several nights. The hotel is conveniently close to the train station, MTR, and the Raohe Night Market. Highly recommended!

Neat, clean and chirpy

Nice boutique hotel, conveniently located to train, MRT and local attractions. Need to note the lobby is on 17th floor with no porterage. I was travelling alone w multiple large cases, so that would have been an issue if I wasn’t as well planned on mobility. Also there is a charge for left luggage storage (I was quoted NT500/piece/night), which I thought was unreasonably high. Most hotels I stayed in would have offered complimentary luggage storage for a reasonably short period of time.

I love the view from my room. I can see most of the downtown area. At night it looks spectacular. However I don’t like the breakfast. Most of the food were cold. The bacon was cold and chewy. Not to many varieties. I would give it a 3 star for the breakfast. If you want to convert dollars to Taiwan money, make sure the dollars is brand new. If not they won’t exchange it for you. But overall I really like the hotel, it’s close to everything that Taiwan have to offer
