We were very disappointed with our stay in this accomodation. The overall hygiene was not up to the standard, the overall kitchen equipment was very basic/ damaged/ dirty. We found a rotten chicken in the microwave on our very first day, pans were very damaged/dirty. The description stated, wifi, coffee, netflix, essentials for cooking. We did not have wifi, or half of the services stated above, no hot water in the kitchen sink, no mat for the bathroom, no kitchen towel to dry the dishes, even though we asked the host, we never got any of these, for a stay of 5 days, we had to buy these as well. The sofa that is supposed to be for 2 people was very old and dirty, we had to request another sheet from the host who did give us another pair of sheet. However due to the overall state of the place we decided to buy an inflatable mattress to sleep on. The bed was correct and the sheets appeared clean. However, probably due to the canalisation that is open in the bathroom, we found several cockroaches and one was found in the bed, we spent at least 1 hour trying to get rid of it. Moreover, the house is probably built on some kind of hole, and we could easily see and hear some rats running in the outside part during the day and the night. If the host would add the items listed in the description as well as the WiFi, would change this very old sofa and do something about the pests, we think this could be a very nice place to stay with a correct cleaning and hygiene procedure.

Very disappointing stay. I specifically booked a garden apartment in Bondi, but only a few days before check-in I was advised I was being moved to a different unit. The replacement looked more like a converted storage area beneath another apartment and was nothing like the property I had booked. The furniture, bedding and towels were old and stained, the bathroom bin and toilet brush were heavily rusted, there was no hand soap or bath mat, only three towels for our family of four, and the shower flooded the bathroom floor. Several lamps didn't work, a wall was unfinished, and the advertised coffee machine and pods amounted to an old jar of stale instant coffee. Netflix and Wi-Fi were advertised but no login details or instructions were provided. The worst issue was a wall-mounted unit in the bedroom that switched on every 30 seconds with a loud hum and bright red light, making it very difficult to sleep. There was only a tiny window. I chose this property because it advertised on-site parking included, but there was no on-site parking, only limited 2-hour street parking, making it extremely difficult to find a space. I also could not find a smoke detector, which was concerning. Overall, the listing did not accurately represent the property. With some basic maintenance, updated linen and towels, and a few inexpensive replacements, many of these issues could easily be fixed. The listing should be updated to accurately reflect the accommodation before accepting further bookings.

It's a bit smelly when we open the toilet door. Problem with the plumbing, that's why it's smelly. We need to close the door the whole time when we sleep or else it's smell. Needs to clean properly especially under the bed. Needs to put a new Sofa bed, no table and a lot to attract more customers. Not happy with the property. But others all OK, pet friendly and shops nearby.
