As you cross over the causeway, taking advantage of your early, 1pm check-in time, you'll thrill to see the ocean come into view, the waves tagging the shoreline over and over in their steady rhythm! In minutes you, and up to 20 guests will begin to vacation in your luxurious 7 bedroom, oceanfront, home away from home. At Permanent Waves, formerly Extra Innings, you are oceanfront to the most beautiful stretch of Holden Beach; North Carolina's peaceful, uncrowded, family friendly beach, only 1 mile from the causeway and a 5 minute walk to the pier.

At Permanent Waves, you'll get a spacious, inverted floor plan allowing breathtaking ocean views for your family reunions, multi-family vacations, or getaways with friends. With beds for 21 guests plus many amenities, it'll feel like you're staying in a mini-resort! Drop your luggage, put on that sunscreen and head for the ocean. The early check-in is like having an extra day at the beach!

When you're ready for a breather from the sea but not quite ready to go inside, keep sunbathing on one of many loungers around the oversized deck then cool off in the private swimming pool. Relax your muscles in the poolside hot tub! Keep your favorite beverages cold and close at hand in the pool deck refrigerator!

Enjoy a fabulous home-cooked dinner made in our thoughtfully equipped kitchen or head to one of the many fine local restaurants followed by an evening playing games or just spending time together.

The next day, the early risers in your group can watch the pelicans dive, and see an occasional dolphin or two, from the panoramic top floor porch. The porches also provide an excellent vantage point for catching the sunrise as well as the vibrant sunsets.
