Had a hiccup with our code working to get in and also with the heat, but Blue Ridge Mountain Rental was excellent to work with on both. The home was beautiful and the games in the basement were a hit with the kids.

Beautiful home with great amenities. The cleanliness of the home, towels, dishes, floors, exterior porches, limited soaps & paper products were silly for the cost. Covered deck had animal poop all over it & downstairs bathroom had water under the floor from owners locked closet.

The house is wonderful, very cozy, perfect for recharging your batteries in the middle of nature. But it is essential to have a 4WD vehicle, especially in winter.

Fantastic trip!

We really enjoyed our stay at Whispering Willow. The property was immaculate and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. The property managers were very responsive and communicated throughout our booking process and stay. We would definitely recommend and return to this property!

Lovely stay

Very relaxing. Clean and packed with everything you would need for a long for short visit. Only thing was missing was the air hockey puck. Very, very minor. Would definitely stay here again. Very luxurious!!

Wonderful retreat

Beautifully located atop a knob overlooking Watauga River valley -- modern amenities, spacious, 2-story windows in living area, hot tub, fire pit, deck all around, quiet -- an excellent property for relaxing and enjoying the natural surroundings.

Fantastic!

This is a great home for a family gathering! It had everything we could think of and I would book again in a heartbeat. Three distinct floors each offer a suite for different couples and 2 bunk beds (with a tv) give the kids their own space for chilling. Game room was a hit. Hot tub used after golf and hiking. Fire pit was a gathering spot. Lots of nooks for folks to find quiet time alone and large gathering spaces for fun. Kitchen perfect. Centrally located to enjoy all that the High Country has to offer.

Spring Break Memories

From the minute we pulled up to "Whispering Willow" we knew we were in for a treat. The property is incredibly maintained. The cabin had every amenity you could ask for and the layout was perfect for our family of 4. The home was extremely clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the location as it was easy to access many different cities, towns and activities. We will definitely be enjoying this cabin again in the future. Thank you!

Beautiful Home and Relaxing Property

The home was just as pretty in person as it is online. We really enjoyed our trip and time with one another. The property is big enough to make you feel like you are secluded and private. We only had a few issues with some housekeeping problems, but other than that the home was wonderful.

Wonderful home

Our group of friends thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The house is well-stocked and we were pleasantly surprised by the thoughtful amenities - towels for the hot tub, throws for sitting around and cuddling by the fire! The kitchen was stocked with plenary of dishes, pots and pans and various spices for cooking in-house! Just a wonderful getaway.

Beautiful home with gorgeous view

We LOVED staying at Whispering Willow. The house is beautiful, updated, clean, spacious and decorated beautifully. Everyone was super comfortable. Waking up to see the clouds hovering and ending the day with the quiet black starry sky was a wonderful experience. The location was great and not too far from lots of high country activities. Very Comfortable Get Away

We have stayed at several places, and this is one of, if not the most comfortable homes that we have ever stayed in. The house is very clean, well equipped, well-appointed and has a nice view.

Great Stay - Family Love

This experience for my family was incredible. We found the peacefulness of this location and the opportunity to be close to everything a joy. There is a park right down the road that our kids love, and the Mast General Stores were so fun. We also had the opportunity to go to the Cone Manor, do a hike, and hit up Grandfather Mountain, which were both fantastic. The house itself comes with top-of-the-line accommodations, and as someone who loves to cook, I thought the KitchenAid appliances and the Napoleon grill to be a huge hit. The only thing I would have loved, and this is minor, is to have the deck, and lower levels pressured cleaned prior as there was a lot of pollen that we ended up taking care of ourselves. We are already looking at this cabin for next year!
