We drove 12 hours and when we arrived, we arrived to a dirty cabin. The last thing you want to do when you arrive after a long trip is have to clean, especially when I don’t appreciate having to pay a cleaning fee and I arrive to a dirty place..when I reached out to report it to the number that was given to us I got no reply. I did get a reply from the app, but there was no apology or anything offered. Whoever manages and cleans this property is a lazy cleaner.. there was hair in the bathtub. Chips in the couch and a floss pick in the couch. There was dog hair matted to the barstools, because they hadn’t been moved to sweep under. It looks like the main surfaces in the kitchen were wiped down but nothing else that place needs a deep clean the stairs going down to the game room had food on them. There were stuff on the walls. There was food on the kitchen window. Other than the cleanliness and the lack of concern from management, the property was beautiful! Hopefully the homeowners will be able to see this and crack down on the staff because if it were my home and I came there to vacation and saw the lack of cleanliness, I would be upset. In all my years of using VRBO I have never left a bad review, but like I said, I should not be charged a cleaning fee and come to a cabin I spent a lot of money on and have to clean it.
