We were a group of 12 friends celebrating a getaway weekend together and found this wonderful compound. We all enjoyed ourselves in the primary house, which had enough rooms for the 6 couples and also had four little cottages for those wanting a bit more privacy and their own bathroom. The house was extremely clean and comfy, with all the amenities a large group needed. We were immediately greeted by the property manager, who stopped in a couple of times to check in on us. The house has two living rooms and two dining rooms, both of which are large enough to accommodate our large party. Plenty of room to eat and to play games on. Each bedroom in the main house was very spacious, and the decor was nice. Outside had a nice deck with an extra-large picnic table, a firepit with outdoor seating, and a small BBQ that we used. Unfortunately, the weather was not cooperating, as a downpour canceled plans to sit by the fire. The location of the property was close enough to downtown Mystic and its shops, as well as to Foxwoods and Mohegan casinos. Highly recommend the Red Rooster for your breakfast needs and Dog Watch for a fun dinner spot. Couple of suggestions for the home owner/property manager..1. Gutters over the backdoor. The heavy downpour had going in and out of the house like running through a car wash. 2. some kind of runner or matt for the backdoor, we used a bath towel to put down during the rain as people were coming in and out getting the kitchen floor wet
