The was an interruption at 2 points in the stay. First, the weather stripping on my room door was being replaced an hour after checking in to the room. Second interruption was at 10:30pm that evening when the fire alarms sounded and lights flashing in my room and throughout the hotel. It was a false alarm, but the fire alarm strobe lights in the room didnt stop flashing for 30 min. In the morning i shook out my clothing to pack and there was a beetle or cockroach bug in the pant leg of my cothing.

There are two floors in the property and no elevator. The website says wheelchair accessible. If have accessibility requirements, you are at risk of not being accommodated because, apparently, the rooms are given out on a first come-first served basis. The front desk agent clearly saw that we needed an elevator and said nothing while we checked in. She only mentioned the no elevator detail when I asked where it was. Her response was “if you checked in earlier, we could have given you a room on the first floor” Also, if you are in a wheelchair, the front doors are not equipped with anything to assist with opening them. However, they might be propped open with the doorstops.

Friendly staff

I checked in about 7. The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful! She explained everything to me and made just the right amount of small talk to make me feel welcomed without being annoying or intrusive. Hotel room was clean and the bed amazingly comfortable.
