BEWARE! first off no one is in the office past 1 PM… Secondly the room was not cleaned there was hair in the sinks, absolutely no soap anywhere,no paper towels, there was a bug in the bed, there were stains on the main bedsheets and stains on the other bed blanket, the door has a huge gap which bugs can crawl under and it was so bright with light I had to shove a towel there, there is no coffee, most all the blinds for the windows are broken throughout the interior with hunks just broken off, the table on the balcony is so rusted out it's dangerous to get close to, you cannot have the door open with the screen closed because the screen has huge gaping cuts and holes in it, the Internet for the TV does not work, pictures are shown as if there is a beach and there is absolutely not a beach and it's quite far down the road and BTW if you are on the balcony or sleeping in the second bedroom the noise from that road is just unbelievable, and the number they give you to call for after hours issues or problems nobody answers and if you leave a message nobody calls. And the pool was dirty with murky water The little restaurant was good the woman working the front desk in the morning was kind and concerned and said she would try to get the owner to call me… He never did. now onto Expedia… BEWARE because they will not back you up whatsoever when you have an issue even though my contract and payment was through them.

A 2 bedroom premium suite is not 2 bedrooms. It is basically 2 lofts and completely open with a spiraling staircase. Water would stop working here and there. Only stayed 1 night of our 6 days. Left and stayed somewhere better. Food at restaurant is superb tho!!!

Our room was never cleaned the entire week. We had no water in our room most of the week. We couldn’t shower or flush the toilet. They offered all of us in one building to use a shower in an open room, without cleaning between guests. Both pools were green and the hot tub was black. Definitely filing for a complete refund as we were unable to contact Expedia for assistance.
We had to use pots full of water to bath.
You could not swim in the upper pool.

The room was very nice and clean. I stayed one night. I had a ground floor room which had a sunken living room. There were 2 high steps up to the bed, bathroom and kitchen. The deck was nice with furniture. The kitchen had a 2 burner stove and small frig. Note that the reception desk has very limited hours and they do not answer the phone. Keys are left or you. I ate at the restaurant, which is open at night, and enjoyed the food and live steel drum musician who plays on Friday night. The coffee shop had a decent assortment of fresh prepared drinks and snacks. The beach is a 15 minute walk on the main road downhill. Magens Bay beach does have an entrance fee. The walk uphill on the main road can be a little difficult if you aren't in good shape. Both pools were clean. Only one spa was operating.

The property definitely needs updating and you can tell the hotel is struggling. Rooms, entranceways and chairs are definitely worn and dated. Also, it’s hard to find someone at the front desk even when you call the number posted. Can be very noisy if private parties are being held on the property. It’s a budget hotel. Restaurant stay is nice though and I love all the cats.

Flamboyan is awesome. Amazing view of Magens Bay. Barbara who runs it is legit and the coffee shop onsite had amazing coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Highly recommended!

The poolside bar and grill as well as the coffee shop were key to the great stay. The food and service was superb. The pool was beautiful but wasnt always working . The view was amazing. The main office was often closed. There was no store or gift shop as advertised. The room was very basic, but clean. There are a lot of stairs everywhere on the resort. Hard on my old lady knees. People were nice and the pool side bar and grill was the best part .

Very friendly staff, but the reception is frequently closed. Lovely views, but the hotel itself is a bit on the older side. Electricity was not working in the bathroom, floors were not clean. Good option if you’re staying a short time. Distance to beach not walkable because there are no sidewalks.

This was once a beautiful resort but it is showing is age. We had a gorgeous bay view room! One hot tub was drained and one was not hot at all, just a bit warmer than the pool. Second pool was green. Restaurant food was very good and reasonably priced. Joel the bartender is awesome! There is also a cafe with good food too. This is also a cat sanctuary with 30 cats who roam the large property. They are well cared for, friendly and have been spayed and don't go in the rooms. Bring your own hair dryer. Taxi is at least $15pp to go to the town or beach. It is very beautiful, quiet and scenic if you want to be with all the husstle and bustle this is not the place. We would like to return next year but not sure if we will if no updates or repairs are done.

Staff support was lacking. If you don't get to the front desk before 1 pm when it closes you will not be able to get issues addressed. Everything seemed just slightly broken and just wasn't up to par. Electronic room keys didn’t work, and when we did notify the front desk no one came to fix the issue during our stay. So we were limited to 1 hard key to unlock the door.
