Room was clean and had enough amenities. Staff was nice. Location wise, it was walking distance to the beach. The AC was a bit loud. Other than that, everything was good.

Sea Jay Motel is a quaint, vintage gem in the heart of Treasure Island – complete with an incredibly beautiful heated pool and a well maintained old school shuffle board on gorgeously manicured grounds! The staff (especially Rene) are down to earth and made sure our stay was excellent – they even entertained our silly nature while checking in. The price was superb for the quality that you experience during your stay! I paid like $10 more so my girlfriend and i could stay in the cottage suite and wow what a steal! The room was immaculate and the bed was soooo comfy. Oh yeah, you cannot beat the location, extremely convenient and central! Can't wait to stay again! Highly recommend The R Bar, right around the corner!

The amount of space and view of the room was amazing and we had a great time as a family together staying at the Sea Jay for the first time. Being a smaller hotel it was quiet with a great pool. The staff was great, I would say that was something that is all too uncommon, not just for this area but in general over the last several years.

Clean,nice staff and within walking distance of Johns Pass.Our second stay and would do it again...My only problem was my pc would not connect this year or last so after 6 days I had about 500 emails,but it was $300 cheaper than IBeach

Room was adequate and clean but showed signs of age. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Cute pictures. Only major problems were that back TV didn't work (other TV worked, so didn't report) and closet needed a door. First impression was of big, ugly water heater in front bedroom and the wall behind the water heater was an eyesore. Note that the blue blanket on the bed looked better than the gold blanket (blue in one room; gold in the other). However, we slept well and it was quiet.

Clean rooms that are well kept up. They are dated, but with a nice retro feel. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The best part is the amazing heated pool. If you are a pool person, it is superior to other motel pools. The living room is also the bedroom and the kitchen. It is a studio with no real comfortable seating to watch television in the evenings, so that is a downfall. Nevertheless, it is a nice motel at a reasonable rate for Florida given the included efficiencies.
