Anchors UP is one of a handful of remaining structures from the 1940's-50's motel BOOM days on the island. Everything on the island is within walking distance, including world class restaurants, beach shops, wine bars, beach bars and cigar bars! We enjoyed our stay at Anchors Up #1 and the rental was very clean, well decorated and everything was relatively new. It is located on a quiet street which is only a 5 minute walk to the beach and numerous restaurants. We would stay again.

Property was clean. Kitchen is tiny and any little bit of cooking set off the smoke alarm but we managed to make breakfast each morning. Great view of waterway at back of property and we even saw dolphins one day!! Great birdwatching area! Short walk to beach and liquor store and restaurants nearby.

This was an absolutly wonderful place to stay! Micky was wonderful to deal with super helpful in anyway you needed! The house Was within walking distince to everything we wanted to do! Everything in the house worked perfect and the outdoor patio is amazing to sit out on and drink your coffee in the morning, even got to see a few dolphins swimming by the dock! Would highly recommended!

Really enjoyed our stay. The apartment was very clean and everything was as advertised. Mickey reached out to us to make sure all was okay for our check-in. Process was seamless.
