"Becky was so great! I messaged ahead of time about my concerns with the 95F heatwave socking the country amd the cottage not having Aircon, and she went to check the temperature and pulled all the shades, removed the duvet inserts, installed fans in our rooms, and left us milk for our morning coffee. The cool stone floors made the entire trip a pleasant home to return to amidst our site-seeing. We bought local prepared foods at Fillet & Bone and had delicious meals at the house. The windows allowed a cross breeze for the rooms to perfectly cool down at night. Good water pressure, quaint gardens, decent, firm mattresses, cozy cotton linens and towels, well-equipped kitchen with syrups, oil, and teas. Stairs are steep to 2nd & 3rd floors (1st & 2nd in UK), but we used caution & managed well. Excellent location to walk to pubs and out-front parking every time we needed it. For the Americans, the exhaust fan for the bathroom is a switch outside closer to the ceiling. Outlets must be switched on to work. Small learning curve."
