The rooms are basic and the walk to the hilltop view rooms can be challenging but otherwise, the hotel is very close to the beach and supermarket and great restaurant (Umbrella’s beach bar is highly recommended!)

I am a repeat guest at Siesta Hotel Grenada. I attempted to reserve a two-bedroom apartment for the Old Year into the New Year period and was advised that full payment was required. I was sent an email attachment requesting credit card details and a photo of the card, which raised security concerns. After submitting the information, I received no confirmation. When I contacted the property the evening before check-in, I was informed the payment was not processed and the apartment had been released. I then booked the last available room via Expedia. Upon arrival, the room contained unclean glasses with visible lipstick marks. During the three-night booking, no housekeeping or towel service was provided, and I departed after two nights.

A buggy or some sort of transportation is definitely needed to go up and down hill to suite/rooms at top of hill. Especially if you cannot walk properly or an older person. Although shampoo was provided it would have been nice to have conditioner and shower gel too. There was no hot water for 2 days. This was only turned on after asking/requesting why the water was cold. I was told it was turned off and would be turned on. This shd have been done automatically without the need to be requested.

Room was large with a lovely balcony. A short 7 minute to the beach. Close to stores and restaurants Small negatives was the room was a bit tired and I thought the daily cleaning could have been better. Worth it for the price and proximity.

Staff was great, had just the right amenities (patio, pool, AC, wifi all top notch), but particularly great was the location - a 5 minute walk to plenty of restaurants and a 10-15 minute walk to the outsanding Grand Anse beach. If I come back to Grenada, for sure I'd stay here.
